Call for entries 2019 August 20, 2018
Dear colleagues and friends! The film submissions for the 16th World Film Festival are open!
The festival will take place from March 18th to 23rd 2019 in the Estonian National Museum at Tartu, Estonia. World Film Festival screens documentaries, creative documentaries and anthropological films which deal with human condition and cultural representation and explore cultures and societies. Films made by students, anthropologists and professional filmmakers are welcome. We are also seeking films with a strong ethnographic focus and we value films, based on deep involvement of the filmmakers in their film’s subjects.
World Film Festival is a non-competitive film festival. Our goal is to bring together filmmakers, academics and general audiences to enable debate and discussions around the films.
Films can be submitted online via festival’s web page http://www.worldfilm.ee/submission2019 or via FilmFreeway (for free submission, use Entry Fee Waiver code Worldfilm2019).
